Lecture organised in conjunction with the Cork Historical and Archaeological Society.

Ms Ireland will speak on the Society’s collection of George Du Noyer drawings which form part of the exhibition Stones, Slabs and Seascapes: George Victor du Noyer’s Images of Ireland (until 24 February). Following the lecture, Peter Murray, the exhibition’s curator, will lead a tour of the exhibition at 3pm.

Members wishing to attend the lecture may take the 9am train to Cork, which should allow enough time to view the exhibition. They may take the return train at 4.20pm.

Lectures and talks take place at 7.30pm in the Helen Roe theatre, which is in the basement of Society House, 63 Merrion Square, unless otherwise indicated. All are welcome to attend.
