Tracy Collins is a professional archaeologist. She was a founding director of Aegis Archaeology, an archaeological and heritage consultancy and worked there for over 20 years. She holds a PhD from University College Cork and held an IRC post-doctoral fellowship there in 2018. She has published on many aspects of archaeology in Ireland. Her monograph entitled Female Monasticism in Medieval Ireland: An Archaeology is published by Cork University Press. She is now an archaeologist with the National Monuments Service.
