Patrick Salmon graduated from TCD as a medical doctor and later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. Specialising in pharmaceutical medicine he became a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine in the UK College of Physicians, and in Ireland became a Specialist in Pharmaceutical Medicine.
Patrick has a long term interest in Irish and Local History, and has completed the course and received the Lord Mayor’s Certificate in Local Studies. He has presented and published on the history of Milltown.
He is a Past President of the Rathmichael Historical Society.
As a long standing and enthusiastic member of the Royal Society of Antiquaries, Patrick is honoured to contribute by serving on the Council.
